I wear glasses every day. And every day, the same problem: a smudge, and nothing in reach.
You grab your shirt. It smears.
You grab a napkin. It scratches.
Here's what most people never find out. Shirt fabric traps grit. Paper is wood pulp. Neither was designed for a coating a few microns thick — and once the anti-reflective layer starts to go, it doesn't grow back. The blue light filtering, the scratch resistance, the upgrades you paid extra for: all of it lives in those top few layers.
So I went looking for a real solution. What I found was a market full of junk. Pre-moistened wipes, half of them dry in the packet. Plastic tongs for glasses that look like vending-machine giveaways. Cloths that ball up in a pocket and end up in a drawer within a month. Nothing thoughtful. Nothing durable. Nothing that felt like it belonged next to the glasses I was trying to protect.
I spent years selling things built to a price point. I know what it looks like when a product is designed to hit a number instead of built to last. This was that, all the way down.
So I built it myself. I taught myself CAD. I learned manufacturing — tooling, resins, tolerances, all of it. Twenty prototypes later: Vero. A pocket-sized cleaner that goes wherever you do. Not just for glasses, but for whatever you're particular about — sunglasses, watches, phones, laptops, cameras. Everything you actually carry, cleaned properly. One device. Built to last. Built to feel like something worth keeping.
Vero has a full ecosystem planned, not just a cleaner.
Because the things you carry every day deserve better than your shirt sleeve.
